Neve Theme Review 2020: Is The New Theme Really Good?

Neve Theme Review

Neve is the recent entrant in the WordPress market focused on simplicity, speed, and affordability.

They are directly competing against the likes Astra, GeneratePress, and OceanWP. Being a user of the above three themes, I was tempted with the Neve theme since it comes from the team, Themeisle.

The company already delivered some awesome themes & plugins to WordPress. I started with a free version, and now, I'm using Neve WordPress Theme Pro for my web company website.

In this Neve theme review, I have covered important aspects such as features, performance, and pricing to give you a clear picture of Neve.

Neve WordPress Theme Overview

Neve is a clean, super-fast, multipurpose WordPress theme from Themeisle. Focused on minimalism and performance, Neve offers a lot of starter site that is perfect for blogs, small businesses, and startups with great compatibility to page builders and AMP.

The main reason, Neve selling like hotcakes, is due to the fact, you can get a single license and use their themes on an unlimited number of sites.

Pros of Using Neve Theme

1. Neve Comes with 200+ Starter Sites

‘Starter sites' is worth mentioning as it makes website designing unimaginably easy for the customers. Neve comes with over 200 starter sites that customers can import and use.

Given that Starter sites or Pre-made templates are pretty helpful in enabling fast site setup, I started to use Neve, one of our own sites.  Here is a one-minute recording showcasing some of the best starter sites.

The main thing is, Neve Starter sites work out of the box.

You might come across many demo sites from other providers; however, if you install the same, you won't the out of box design.

You need to follow the tutorial and work from scratch to get a demo like a site. Neve just broke the rules.

Once you activate Neve with your license, choose the starter sites, and finish the setup.

Boom, you can see your site is as same as the demo site showcased on the official website.

Imported Neve Starter Site

You just need to change the content based on your needs.

This helps customers build their websites much faster than and further, helping them create websites that look perfectly professional.

To import a starter site, you will first need to install Neve from the themes under appearance. Next, users can look for the Neve Options under your WordPress menu's appearance tab and get to the Site Library.

The next best thing to do would be to select Elementor and the starter sites to automatically install the Elementor for you.

Neve Starter Sites

However, Neve supports all major page builders. You can navigate through menus, choose your favorite page builder, and check for starter sites under it.

Users can browse the starter sites included in the library, click the preview button for a preview, and import a suitable site.

However, you must ensure that you keep the settings as default before you hit the import button. It takes about a few minutes for the site to import, and after that, you edit the site using the page builder or default Gutenberg.

2. Performance

Performance is something I cover in my every theme review, and without a decent performance, every other theme features won't make any sense.

Neve claims to have extremely reliable performance, but as always, I don't simply believe in words without proper testing.

I tested my company website, and the site just makes fewer requests and loads in ms.

Neve Test Site

As I looked into the factors behind this performance, I realized that it is the theme size that helps it perform well. The size of the Neve is just 28KB.

Besides, Neve also supports Accelerated Mobile Pages 9 (AMP) for excellent user experience on the mobile with a super-fast page loading.

3. Page Builder Plugins Compatibility

Another important aspect would be the Page Builder compatibility.

Neve works seamlessly with almost all the popular WordPress page builder plugins, including Gutenberg, Elementor, Brizy, Beaver Builder, Visual Composer, SiteOrigin, and Divi Builder.

I was pretty surprised to see starter Themes for Thrive Architect. If you don't understand, Thrive Architect is a closed ecosystem, which means no third party can develop extensions like Elementor.

That's the reason, most other similar themes like Astra, GeneratePress just supports fewer page builder, unlike Neve, which supports builders like Architect and Divi.

This means customers can continue using your favorite page builder to build amazing websites using Neve. This would eventually make the process pretty simple for you.

4. Blog & WooCommerce Booster

If you have an online store in your mind, there is nothing like using the Neve WooCommerce Combination.

Neve comes with an option called WooCommerce Booster.

Using the feature, you can design the Page Layout, Product Card, Card image, Card Content, and Site Tag.

Apart from that, you can also make tweaks to the Single Product layout with useful options such as Title, Price, Add to cart, Meta. Further, it allows you to customize your checkout page to a large extent.

With the Blog Booster feature, users can have increased user experience with some special features such as Grid Layout, Post Content Order, Separator, Meta, Blog Layout, Author bio, Related posts, Sharing icons.

5. Header Booster

This is yet another excellent Pro feature that allows you to customize your header section to a large extent.

For that, Neve provides users. With different components such as a sticky and transparent menu, Multiple HTML header components, Socials, contact, breadcrumbs, Advanced styling options, Mobile headers, Page header builder.

5. Custom Layout

With the Custom Layout option, you can create custom headers and footers with the greatest ease. Also, you can add custom code in the various hook locations.

This is a very innovative feature and can largely help you create professional designs.

6. Neve Theme Got White Label Option

The White Label is a pretty handy feature for developers and agencies, as this helps you present the theme as your own to your clients by simply enabling the option.

Pricing

Users can buy Neve by choosing from the 3 available plans; Personal for 3499 USD, Business for 5699 USD, and Agency for 9299 USD.

Conclusion

This brings to the end of this Neve theme Review.

However, I am sure that my Neve theme review has given you a perfectly clear picture of Neve.
