To get the real-world data, I created two demo sites on my Cloudways Linode hosting and installed each theme on my two websites.

While the GeneratePress site took 0.6 seconds to load with 10 Requests and 33KB page size, Neve took 0.4ms to load with 8 Requests and 34KB page size.

Though GeneratePress is faster, Neve is fastest while doing our comparison. To create better value content, I used Google PageSpeed Insights to test how Google sees those two themes.

It's clear Neve is absolutely faster with better values of First Contentful Paint, Speed Index, Largest Contentful Paint and, Time to Interactive.

The major thing to note is the Largest Contentful Paint (LCP). Lower the LCP value, the Core Web Vitals score will be “Good” in the search console.

In that case, Neve is just brilliant and I can't say more enough about how good Neve outrank every theme in the industry which is available even at the most affordable price.

Page Builder Support

Neve and GeneratePress support page builders. Though, GeneratePress supports comparatively less number of page builders than Neve.
